Being raised in Scottsdale, Arizona by Israeli immigrant parents made for quite the interesting upbringing! In a house filled with music, art, and creativity, my dream was to become a singer. I remember as a young girl, "Hero" by Mariah Carey was the first song I learned all the way through. I performed it for my parents sitting on the kitchen floor with the original version of the song playing on a little silver boombox. I was so proud. So after high school, I began the journey ...to become a singer! I joined bands, I performed, and toured the east coast of the USA, I wrote songs, recorded albums...
...But then, you know, life happened. I abandoned my dream, and started opening restaurants for a growing restaurant group. 6 years later, as I rose to the top of that ladder, my dream came back to haunt me (thank you dream), this time back wanting so much more. I want to write, sing, paint, travel, you name it. Being creative, inspiring others - those are my dreams now, and the reason for this blog!
I wanted to share my experiences, and talk about how I stay positive while navigating the rushing waters of life. We all have hopes, dreams, and desires which we may or may not have abandoned. We all have ups and downs in life, and can lose ourselves from times to time. But that doesn't mean we can't get back up again!
